MARION MOSKOWITZ

Each piece is made of a 10 centimeters cube in which I sculpt and carve to extract a shape inspired by the infinite variations of minerals, gems, and rocks formations. You have to look at each side, and each time, light and point of view gives the spectator a new understanding of the object; a play area with your dreams, the Traumwirklichkeit (Notion raised by Nietzsche in The Dionysian worldview).

This installation gives an understanding of the entire process of creation. Porcelain and polyurethane foam are presented in equal level, in order to honor the craft as much as the artistic process.
