PARTY IS OVER

This project results from the extraction of a memory, a mood, a personal nostalgic feeling of moments exchanged within the family house.

​

This installation resumes all the party codes: confetti's, garlands, colors,... They are put together and staged to recreate a fictitious festive space, as if it was after the party had ended, ready to be given up.

​

The ceiling is covered with christmas tree's branches who've been painted to create a colorful and joyous forest who seems to comes out straigh out of a dream.

​

On the ground, a green carpet remains a cheap lawn to signify the grass. On it, the pin needles falls and become like confettis as the rest of an abandoned celebration.
